Charity Initiatives Instead of Christmas Gift-Giving
Every December, Nord Steel transforms the usual Christmas gift-giving tradition into charity initiatives. This year our team was divided into three separate teams, each with its own budget, which they could use at their choice to support people in need.
Our charitable initiatives extend beyond financial aid. It's not only about providing essential items but also engaging in meaningful conversations, sharing moments while eating mandarins, or even lending a hand in fixing tables. These initiatives encourage us to step away from our computers and experience different colors of life.
This year we helped a family whose home was burnt down in a fire, we also contributed to the treatment of a six-year-old boy and turned to a mother left alone with four daughters after the unexpected loss of their father in a car accident.
Helping those struck by misfortune is fueled by gratitude for being able to share, and the hope that more people will spend the festive season a little bit calmer, happier and safer.
Stainless-steel Gas-tight Ducts Ready for Delivery
Another fascinating project accomplished by Nord Steel. Our team has put their heart and soul into fabricating 26 tons of stainless-steel gas-tight ducts, integrated with carbon steel stiffeners and supports. This project showcases meticulous attention to detail and customization to meet our client's unique requirements.
Key Highlights of the Project:
- MIG and TIG welding methods were skillfully employed in the fabrication process, ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship.
- To guarantee top-notch durability and protection, carbon steel items were fully painted according to EN ISO 12944-ZN(R)EPPUR, while stainless steel was pickled and passivated as per ASTM-A380/A380M. (Shout-out to Tikkurila and Chimimeca Poland for their contributions in this aspect)
- The ducts have been meticulously shrink-wrapped to prevent dust contamination and packed in custom-designed wooden frames, ensuring their safety during transportation and storage.
The integration of stainless steel and carbon steel components, along with the various quality control measures and packaging solutions, showcases a comprehensive and meticulous approach to delivering high-quality ducts to our clients.

Exhaust Steam Ducts Made for a Power Plant to be Built in Warsaw (Poland).
Here at Nord Steel, we waved goodbye to the impressive Exhaust Steam Ducts our team made for a Power Plant to be built in Warsaw (Poland).
These ducts (around 51t in total) will be used as primer components of the plant cooling system, which is a vital subsystem of every power plant. Many factors had to be considered in manufacturing the custom-made ducts, such as specific customer specifications, the safety of the plant, its performance and efficiency.
It is always a great pleasure to contribute to creating power generation objects and more clean and safe energy infrastructure in Europe and beyond.
Certified for Free-Standing Industrial Chimneys
We always strive for the highest quality in our production, which is why we are expanding our portfolio of international certificates. We proudly present one more certificate, issued to Nord Steel by the Bureau Veritas Certification. This time it’s for cylindrical welded steel fabrications for use in free-standing single wall steel chimneys and steel liners in accordance to EN 13084-7:2012.
This European Standard deals with steel products which are produced either in series or as single items. It is a product standard which specifies the performance requirements of cylindrical steel fabrications aiming to convey the flue gas to the outside atmosphere. It also specifies the requirements for insulation and cladding which is also a very important part of such production.
We are looking forward to facing more challenges and taking on even more complex new projects.
