The Practical Skills and Work Competences by Apprenticeship project
Nord Steel has been cooperating with the Mažeikiai Polytechnic School for a few years already. This year a decision was made to join forces in the implementation of the Practical Skills and Work Competences by Apprenticeship project. The Project aimed to encourage a smoother transition of students from school bench to work, acquiring practical skills through hands on learning.
During this Project, Nord Steel invited 5 students specializing in welding to join the company and gain practical knowledge. Carefully guided by the experts of the Nord Steel team, young welders deepened their knowledge of the welding process, tried to understand the secrets of this work, and at the end of the Project, 3 of them started their professional carreer Nord Steel!
